Travelling on the saddle of a Vespa in Chianti is a wonderful experience, incomparable for sensations that cannot be reached even by travelling on this area in a convertible car.
Thanks to our long experience in hospitality, we, at the Gourmet Vespa tour in Chianti, have thought of a unique tour of its kind, which adds up to the wonderful experience of driving without traffic on these colorful vintage vespas, breathtaking landscapes, and the possibility to taste the products of this extraordinary land.
Our first stop will be in Romita where you will have a full Tuscan breakfast at “alimentari da Elisa”
Continuing our ride we will reach the beautiful abbey of Badia a Passignano open to show you its treasures. Living the abbey we will arrive at “Poggio al sole”a panoramic place to admire the sourrounding landscape and take pictures.
The ride continuos through the panoramic country road that takea to San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Lunch will be at the traditional trattoria “La cantinetta del nonno” that spoils its guests for over hundred years.

The menu will include : Three different types of crostini, two tastes of fresh made pasta, steak slices and a mix of grilled meat accompained by fresh herbs and roasted potatoes, and the best tiramisu’ of the world!
After lunch we will return to the base, leave the vespas and go by car to Cantine Valvirginio for the wine testing, a local winery that produces 35 different variety of wines.
Then, with a glass of wine in our hands, we will end the tour.

Drivers License

A valid driver’s license (B license) is required (you need to have it with you on the tour) and you must be at least 18 years of age.However, you do not need a motorcycle license.
If you do not feel comfortable driving, you can choose to ride as a passenger with your partner.
