Vespa Tour in Chianti

Vespa tour in Chianti offers a beautiful tour in the heart of the chianti region in Tuscany with a vintage vespa. During the tour you will have the chance to enjoy the unique roads, landscapes, flavours ans history of Tuscany.

The meeting will take place at 8:30–9:00 AM at our base in Fornacette/Montespertoli for the briefing and a short driving test.

Once we set off, the first stop will be at Sandra and Valentina Nieddu ‘s place.

Here, you will taste a selection of Pecorino cheeses and organic olive oil, all produced by the two ladies.

The second stop will be at the beautiful Castello del Nero, near Tavarnelle  dating back to the 13th century and now a five-star hotel. While admiring the beauty of the setting and the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy a high-quality coffee or cappuccino.

Leaving the suggestive context of the castle we will reach the small medieval town of Barberino Val d’Elsa and there after a short walk with some historical background  we will taste the  Alessandro’s famous schiacciata fiorentina.

After the visit, we return to Montespertoli along new and extraordinary roads and landscapes.

From our base, after parking the vespas we will drive to  “La Cantinetta del Nonno” restaurant for lunch.

The small trattoria “Cantinetta del nonno” is an authentic experience of fine traditional Tuscan food. Giuseppe and his team will introduce you to the authentic, wholesome flavors that have been handed down to us.

The lunch ends with an extraordinary home made dessert, tiramisu’ or cheesecake.

After lunch we will reach our base and leave the vespas. Then, by car after a short drive we will arrive to “Cantine Valvirginio” that produces 35 different types of wines where we will hv our wine testing.

With a glass of wine in our hands, we will end the tour.
